We were invited to a birthday party for a friend. They said we could bring Vale but I knew it was time...time to hire a babysitter. I spent days mustering up the courage. I knew exactly who I wanted to ask, Kristen, a friend of our family. I was surprised at the anxiety I felt. When I finally called, I was so nervous, "What if she says 'no'? Am I prepared for that kind of rejection?" Her Mother answered so I went through my premeditated speal then said, "Do you think Kristen would do that?" she replied, "I don't know. Kristen is home, why don't you ask her" I felt so silly! She happily agreed and I was thrilled. Vale had a great time.
