I told Jared last night that St. Patricks Day is becoming one of my favorite holidays. All Vale could talk about yesterday was the traps he was going to make to catch that naughty little leprechaun. He made 2 traps. A box with a shamrock trail, rainbow and even a shiny gold bracelet dangling inside so when he reached for it ... he would fall to the bottom of the box and be trapped! He also made a spring operated trap using my vegetable steamer and some rubber bands with a shiny ring inside so when he grabed the ring it would close on him. a total MESS!
Everything was knocked over. So naughty!
Here is one of his two traps. He may have gotten away with the shiny gold bracelet but we'll get him next year!
A confetti trail showed us where he had been. He did leave us lots of gold coins and shiny shamrocks!
We even found his muddy footprints.
The boys also woke up to new Pot 'O Gold pillowcases. Not exactly the Pot 'o Gold they were hoping for ...
Vale read the note he left us and told me that we need to make BIGGER and BETTER traps next year!
