I took the boys to Maple Valley Days this afternoon. We had a fun afternoon on the rides, trains, giant slides, bouncy houses, etc. Just as we were getting ready to leave, I told Vale he could have a corn dog. He looooves corn dogs! On our way we passed this climbing tower and Vale asked if he could try it. I hesitated. I explained that I only had $8 left, the climbing tower would cost $6. I told him he had to choose. Climb the climbing tower and eat dinner at home or get a corn dog. He didn't hesitate. Climb!
He just kept going and going.
He almost made it to the top (and he would have won $150!)
I was so proud but more importantly, I know Uncle Ben would be proud too!
