Saturday

This is Halloween...

I'm starting to notice that holidays - if done right - are a month long celebration for kids. We started singing Halloween songs, doing crafts and reading our favorite Halloween books at least 4 weeks ago. We had a great day. Here are the highlights:

1) Vale's soccer team won their first game which also happened to be the last game of the season. Vale played goalie and stopped the ball several times. Not one goal was made on his watch! WOOT! WOOT!

2) We then went to McDonald's for lunch to celebrate the victory.

3) After that we went out to our favorite little pumpkin patch in Fall City. With soccer and all the rain this month, we still hadn't been to the pumpkin patch. I seriously considered buying pumpkins at the local grocery store. I'm so glad we decided to head out to the patch instead. Just as we got there -- the rain stopped, the clouds separated and the sun came out.

On the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. Vale LOVES this part (in case you couldn't tell)

This place is BEAUTIFUL!
and we had it almost to ourselves!

Can you find the baby??? He totally fits in! Especially with his 6 Jack-O-Lantern teeth right now! :)

Noah loved to drum on the pumpkins.

The Rule: If you can carry it...you can keep it!

I was having flashbacks of last year and was just so glad to not be prego/huge/sick this year!

4. Trick-or-Treating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today: "Mom, when you say 'Vale', you really mean 'Peter Pan', huh?"

Showing off his skills
